Huta Raja Collective came from a small group of farmers near Pematang Purba. It was started as a single family farm adoption in early 2014, grew into a group of families and then the village.
2018 is their very first season processing coffee from Huta Raja as double soaked in their newly built and improved wet mill facility. Where the cherry is pulped then spend the night in the fermentation tank. then the parchment washed clean from their mucilage before undergo another special step of soaking to increase the coffee characteristics.
In the cup, it's resulting a bright lemon acidity, soft yellow fruits undertones and tea-like body, a much cleaner and refined coffee.
