The first coffee on on our previous shipment is Gunung Halu, roasted by East Indische Koffie. Gunung Halu is located in West Java, and this coffee plantation is owned by the government and managed by the local farmers. They could produce a high quality coffee in regards to the training held by East Indische themselves. Aside from managing this coffee plantation, the farmers also trained on how to prepare the coffee they produce into a drinkable coffee; in short, to be a Barista. They work together with the Ministry of Labor on training the farmers and until today, they’ve trained more than 500 coffee farmers for free.
This is a fruity coffee; you can taste cherry ripe, chocolate bar, an also starfruit.
