Finca Hartmann was founded in 1940 by Ratibor Hartmann and continues to be operated by members of the Hartmann family, having maintained its distinction for nearly eighty years. The coffee beans dried in African beds for around five days, depending on the sunshine, until a humidity of 25% is reached. Mechanical dryers are used for drying with a temperature of 40 ̊C during the day. Resting during the night, this process can take, depending on the circumstances, more than three days. Coffee is stored in bags or black bags to rest for at least three months.
