Ipyana FG joined the Igale AMCOS this season (2018) due to the change of regulations. However, Ipyana is the only farmers within Igale AMCOS to produce washed coffee. The water is taken from the Nsanya river, which is about 100m from the CPU. The chairman is Elias Mswima, and the secretary is Helman Jirah.

The farmers deliver the cherries from 4-7 p.m. Usually, the pulper is being turned on at around 6 p.m. and can run up to 9 p.m. After being pulped, the parchment is graded into P1, P2, P3, P lights and pods in the washing channels. The P1 and P2 are then fermented for 24-48 hours before they get washed. Then they go into the tanks again for soaking, for 8-12 hours. The drying on the tables takes around 7-14 days.
One of the main goals for this group is to create their own AMCOS, in order to assure high quality washed coffee. After having accomplished this, the goal is to build its own office and warehouse.
