The Guarumo farm is a new farm that only just came into production this year. Owners Ratibor and Tessie Hartmann were in fact expecting their first main crop harvest last year but due to increasingly extreme weather conditions the harvest was only a stunning 3.5kg total. Ben himself considered using this coffee for the World Barista Championship but due to the limited supply of this coffee it was not a possible. This year the yield was a quite an increase but again due to the extreme conditions at Guarumo they’ve only had a total yield of 19.5kg.
